is
a designer label, producing a collection of about 40 styles
per season. LIke it's designer, it favors interesting contradictions:
The pants are wide, masculine yet decidedly
sexy.
Jackets show pared down intellectual Lines,
skirts have fun with dressing up.
There always is vulnerability, but also strength.
all garments begin life
as a hand drawn sketch on a piece of paper.
Fabrics then often come fro9m italian or French
mills.
Pattern makers create the fit and cut, cutters
process the4 cloth and skilled machinists construct and finish
the garment.
The whole process is overseen in-house.
Each machinist begins and completes a garment
and signs it. This provides varied interesting work, creates
job satisfaction and produces far better quality for the customer.
